About the Company
Sjömarkens Insulation is one of Sweden's most experienced players in loose fill insulation and an obvious choice for both construction companies and private customers. For over 40 years, the company has combined solid craftsmanship with modern technology and continuous skills development. Whether it’s about large new construction projects or smaller villa extensions, Sjömarkens delivers effective insulation solutions that save time, energy, and money for the customer.
A large part of the success lies in Sjömarkens manufacturing its own insulation in Borås and working with its own installers. This provides short lead times, high delivery reliability, and a solution that is cleaner, faster, and more sustainable than traditional insulation methods. Loose fill can be used throughout the house – walls, floors, and ceilings – without waste, without storage, and without disruption at the workplace.
Sjömarkens is a family-oriented company with about 60 employees and a culture characterized by commitment, quality, and long-term thinking. The company is now taking the next step by further developing its B2C department – an initiative where you have the opportunity to be involved from the beginning and contribute to shaping the future sales towards Sweden's homeowners.
Job Responsibilities
As a salesperson at Sjömarkens, you will have a role that combines customer contact, advisory services, and your own business drive. You meet homeowners in their home environment and show how a better insulation solution can improve both comfort and economics. When there is interest, you schedule a follow-up meeting where you review the house and prepare a customized quote with a clear cost picture and concrete action proposals.
Your everyday life is mobile and independent, with great responsibility for your own planning. You start from your home or our office and work in your geographical area, having the opportunity to influence both the setup and results – and thus also your salary.
Main tasks:
• Meet homeowners and present the company's insulation solutions
• Schedule follow-up meetings for inspections and quotes
• Conduct customer visits and create solutions tailored to the customer's needs
Education, Experience, and Personal Qualities
For this role, your personality is more important than your background. We are looking for someone who builds trust, enjoys meeting new people, and likes the feeling of driving their own business. You have a natural drive, appreciate clear goals, and are motivated by seeing your performance reflected directly in the results.
An interest in houses, construction, or energy issues is a plus, but not a requirement. What matters is that you are curious, brave, and have the will to help the customer find a better solution.
We would like you to:
• Have experience in customer contact – sales is an advantage
• Speak and write Swedish and English fluently
• Have a B driver's license and your own car
